Body Informed Studio offers contemporary style Alexander Technique lessons both in-person and online and is based in western Cincinnati.
Hi, I’m Tiffany Owens.
I’m an Alexander Technique teacher and body-informed educator working with those who are curious about finding more ease in their bodies and in daily life.
Every body is different. Every nervous system is different. We all have unique histories, patterns, and ways of responding to the world which means there’s no single “right” way to move, sit, stand, breathe, or function. That’s why my Alexander work is personalized and collaborative. Lessons are shaped around you: your daily activities, your concerns, your curiosities, and what you’re noticing in your body right now. Whether you’re experiencing discomfort, tension, fatigue, overwhelm, heaviness or simply a sense that something could feel easier, we explore that together at your pace. Rather than pushing, fixing, or forcing, we use gentle awareness, guided exploration, and gentle, consensual hands-on work to help you notice habitual patterns and discover new options. The goal isn’t to change who you are, but to help you regain choice, comfort, and adaptability in how you use yourself. I approach teaching with clarity, patience, and respect for the nervous system. You don’t need to perform, explain, or arrive “ready.” I’ll meet you where you are, help you make sense of what your body is doing, and support you as you learn how to move through life with a little more ease.
